Nirvana Confirm ‘Kurt Is Alive’ Conspiracy Rumors – Nirvana have responded to rumors that lead singer Kurt Cobain is still alive, after fans claimed that Peruvian singer Ramiro Saavedra is Kurt is disguise. Almost 25 years since the band released their hit “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” remaining members of Nirvana added fuel to conspiracy theories that their frontman was still alive and living in Peru by saying, “It is true, Kurt is alive“.

We are so happy to have him back and forgive him for all of the sadness that we have held so deeply in our hearts.”
